Downtown District Operations

Downtown District collaboratively plans, manages, maintains, and develops downtown Houston to make it a productive, inviting, safe, accessible, livable, and always active urban place. The operations brand system—an extension of the existing identity, aims to display the efforts of the Downtown District through a colorful and vibrant approach.

The identity is composed of a system of icons that visualizes Houston's landmarks and diverse culture. Patterns of the icons along with duotone photography and colorful overlays are applied to vehicles, banners, and printed materials. The patterns highlight Downtown Management District’s brand and become part of the vibrant landscape of Downtown Houston.
