Celebrating & revitalizing Downtown Brooklyn’s Music Community

The Brooklyn Music School, located in downtown Brooklyn, is a music school serving its youth and community by providing approachable music education. 2019 marked their 110th year; The gala aimed to ignite interest in preserving the school’s history, heritage, and future.

The gala identity draws inspiration from vintage jazz album covers and the gala's expressions communicate free-form energy through an eclectic mix of colors and shapes. All instrument stylizations come together to emphasize this gala’s theme of Restore & Revitalize.

The identity comes to life at the Gala with projected animations, table cards, and temporary signage throughout the building. It defined a milestone in the school’s long history and helped drive focus on the school’s urgent needs.
